The Inevitable Apocalypse
Rumors of the impending Apocalypse of this Century has been doing the rounds for quite a few years now. Nobody knows where these rumors began but claims of doomsday have spread like wildfire across the world and have taken a place in fantastical stories told to scare innocent people out of their living daylights. Turns out, the educated and the rich who make up for some of the most powerful people in the world have been working at securing themselves and their future should the Inevitable Apocalypse break out, this is what we are talking about ‘The new silicon valley “Preppers”’
The richest Silicon Valley executives foresee an oncoming disaster owing to the modern day mayhem that is world politics, the world economy, and of course, the possibility of a nuclear war. While the rest of the world is investing in stocks and cryptocurrencies, the billionaires of Silicon Valley are busy unloading money on building underground bunkers that will serve as a way for survival in the event that a full-blown nuclear war does break out.
Silicon Valley Billionaires: Have they Gone too far with Apocalypse preparation?
Who can blame them really? With all the uncertainty brewing across the globe and nuclear threats being fired back and forth, it seems fitting that the rich should utilize their wealth for what they term the ‘Survivalism Movement’. Fortified shelters, guns, ammunition, and motorcycles will be a part of the Doomsday Survival Plan. Underground shelters that can withstand catastrophic events, viral breakouts, as well as nuclear explosions are being built as we speak.
AI and Global Insecurity:
The rise of Artificial Intelligence and its rapid advancement in a short while seems to terrify tech billionaires most of all. Since AI is threatening to replace jobs by the thousands, the creators of this technology fear for their safety due to the resentment that will purportedly be directed against them.
Silicon Valley survivalists have gone as far as creating Facebook groups to exchange apocalypse tips and strategies including safe locations and gas masks. This may seem a bit extreme to the lesser privileged of the world who may even laugh at the many eccentricities of Billionaires. Nevertheless, it does create a sense of panic and dread for those who haven’t even begun to contemplate about how to protect themselves on doomsday.
The Silicon Valley survivalists have also been calling themselves the “preppers” since they have been actively planning for future emergencies. Let’s just hope they come up with ideas to avoid or prevent such emergencies and help secure the world population. Popular Billionaires known to be a part of this formidable scheme include Steve Huffman; co-founder and chief executive of Reddit, former Yahoo executive; Marvin Liao, Robert A Johnson; Managing Director of Soros Fund Management, Reid Hoffman; co-founder of LinkedIn, and Antonio Garcia Martinez, among others.
Although the Survivalists are on the right road to securing the future for themselves and their friends, some people believe that such extreme measures are a tedious waste of resources. Silicon Valley survivalists will find that a global, practical approach to ensuring safety would be wiser and more beneficial to everyone. Meanwhile, we can only pray and hope that no catastrophic events should ever threaten the safety and security of the world population.
